Your role as Business Development Manager

  • Articulate and present 55 Minute’s vision and approach to clients/prospects and partners.
  • Develop and manage our sales pipeline and create strategic and innovative business development plans that are well thought through.
  • Coordinate and support client proposals with input from the wider team.
  • Work closely with the team to identify any existing or potential client and/or partner relationships and assist in the growth of those relationships.
  • Develop and present ideas about the challenges and opportunities clients and prospects face by analysing market research, developing unique insights and making strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure clients are transitioned successfully once the business has been won.
  • Take care of partner relationships and engage them to set up the partnership for success.
  • Support our market engagement strategy, which may include workshops, speaking engagements, and social media outreach, whenever possible.
  • Manage a set of case studies to be used in our marketing efforts.
  • Help create compelling presentations, pitch and portfolio decks, using industry knowledge and case studies, to clearly communicate the value proposition and inspire traction.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content.
  • Provide regular updates on all marketing and outreach activities.

You'd have these key qualifications

  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and client/partner liaison skills, with exceptional ability to communicate in English.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Word/Pages, Excel/Numbers and PowerPoint/Keynote.
  • A degreed qualification in business, or communications/design (digital/graphic).
  • Design agency experience working on corporate projects related to digital design and technology.
  • 3 or more years of experience in a design consultancy with a business development role is preferred.
